About Doula Marcia Brito
I was born in Brazil and have been living in the US since 2015. For over 14 years I worked as a nurse in different hospitals in my country specializing in ER, OB and Pediatrics.
I decided to take a training to become a birth and postpartum doula and worked for several years before immigrating to my home in US.
While in Brazil, I completed additional training specializing in breastfeeding techniques.
Im passionate about helping families successfully navigate through their birth and postpartum journey.
I'm marred and mother of two beautiful children.
I am there to “mother the mother.” Postpartum doula care is a powerful way to support women, to instill confidence and to ensure that each family bond is made stronger. I have decades of experience caring for new moms and their babies, and bring a sense of comfort and caring to any situation. Quite honestly, I am not easily flustered!

This is not a profession for me, it is a calling.
